Free for small groups, families and friends
Plan gatherings and keep everyone in the loop.
See when and where you're meeting, who's coming and who's bringing what, with a reminder before each gathering. Made for small groups, Bible studies, dinner clubs, family reunions and road trips.
No app store needed. It works on any phone. Free forever.

One place instead of four
Replace the group text, the spreadsheet and the extra websites with one app.
The group text buries the date, the address and every change.
Keep each gathering, its place and its changes in one spot.
The sign-up sheet tracks who's bringing what.
Claim dishes and jobs right on the gathering.
The meal-train site organizes meals for a new baby or a hard week.
Run care calendars inside your group.
The Secret Santa site comes with a spreadsheet of wishlists.
Run Secret Santa, Dirty Santa and kids' wishlists in the app.
Gatherings
Everyone knows the plan
- Say Going, Maybe or Can't go in one tap. Families answer together, kids included.
- Get a reminder before each gathering, and word of any change.
- Meet in the same place every week or at a different home each time, with directions to the door and the weather there.
- Set limited seats, waitlists, sign-up dates and costs for bigger events.

Meals and jobs
Who's bringing what
- Plan the menu with two entrées, three sides or more, drinks and plates.
- People claim a dish and say what it will be when the choice is open.
- Whoever plans the menu sees everyone's allergies. Jobs cover everything else, like setup, childcare and leading.

Care
Look after each other
- Use care calendars for a new baby, a surgery or a loss. Pick a day and say what you'll bring.
- See birthdays and anniversaries on the group page.

Trips and retreats
Road trips, retreats and reunions
- Plan rooms, packing lists and meal crews for the weekend.
- Plan carpools or a whole caravan with a meeting point, a time to leave, and each car's route and stops, ready to open in Google Maps.
- Share check-in times, Wi-Fi and the door code with the group and nobody else.

For churches
Made for church small groups
Each gathering can have a reading or topic, and an organizer can run a single night. Prayer requests stay private to the group, and nobody gets reminders during a break for the holidays.
Link a church's congregations, hubs and small groups so people can find the right group and join it from the one they're in.
Private by design
End-to-end encrypted
Chat, memories and photos are encrypted on your phone. Not even Porchlight can read them.
No ads, ever
Porchlight doesn't sell your data or show ads.
Only the people going
Addresses, door codes and emergency contacts reach only the people who need them.
Questions people ask
Is Porchlight really free?
Yes. Everything here is free, for groups of any size. We might add optional extras one day, but what's free stays free.
Does everyone need to download an app?
No. Porchlight works in the browser on any phone or computer. Add it to your home screen and it works like an app, notifications included.
How do people join our group?
Send them your group's invite link or its six-character code. They sign in with their email or Google and join right away, or ask to join first if your leaders want to approve new people.
Who can see our chat and photos?
Only the people in your group. They're end-to-end encrypted, so not even Porchlight can read them.
Can a family answer together?
Yes. A household answers once and marks who's going, kids included. Anyone in it can change the answer.
Is it only for church groups?
No. It's for any group that gets together, including dinner clubs, book clubs, neighbors, families, teams and road trips.
